WE ARE
Jane VanMeter founded Trans Safe Action Fund in 2023 in response to false political narratives in her home state and anti-trans legislation that have put transgender individuals in danger. Her leadership is instrumental in our mission to raise awareness, educate the public, and mobilize supporters to protect the trans community from dangerous laws and cultural prejudices.

We are blocking anti-trans bills in the Kentucky state legislature through lobbying efforts, advocating for commonsense protections, and changing the trans narrative with national ads targeting moderates and independents.

We started this work in 2023, but already, we are being recognized as a leader for our advocacy in the advertising space to convince state lawmakers not to target trans people.
